FARE Idaho Feature: Neckar Coffee

Neckar Coffee is a specialty coffee roaster and retailer located in downtown Boise, Idaho. Neckar specializes in small batch roasts and baked goods available to enjoy at their cafe. They also offer a coffee subscription with monthly or weekly deliveries locally and nationwide.

When asked what inspired them to open Neckar, owner Grant Shealy stated: “Neckar was born to connect people with reason. There isn't anything tremendously special about coffee except that it is the host of common ground (oh! And that it's a deliciously unique flavor experience, it is one of the most widely consumed beverages in the world, it has been consumed for centuries and, most importantly, it alters your mind state... okay, coffee is pretty special). There isn't anything tremendously special about neckar except that it is common ground for people who see the reason for it. The reason is simple: to be/do good and to aim to always be better. This is what we call living with good intention and it is the basis for our company slogan: "Good Company". We exist to be a good company and to be good company.”
